![]() I mean, it's been 2 years and it's still in pre-production? That sounds to me like Del Toro's company wasn't getting shit done. We have no idea what might have gone wrong perhaps the game was already a mess and they wanted to wipe their hands clean. There's another link that they have started working on 4 different unannounced games within the last 60 days, so they are doing a lot more than just milking Saints Row.Īlso, you don't know all the inner dealings between them and Del Toro. They are continuing to make Dawn of War and Company of Heroes, and I have to give props to them for being one of the only major publishers (compared to EA, Activision and Ubisoft) that continues to make strategy games. They are currently producing a Warhammer 40k MMO (personally I think this is a bad idea, MMOs are so risky but we shall see), and on top of that are delivering sequels to very unique franchises (Darksiders, Metro). They can't take risks right now or their company will tank. Hm, I'd say THQ's IPs are much more unique than many other gaming companies.Īnd yes, THQ's finances are in the shitter. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
